OPWDD (Office of People with Developmental Disabilities) Resources/Directions:

Step 1: Getting OPWDD Services:
1. Apply for OPWDD (Office of People with Developmental Disabilities) eligibility and secure a care manager.

Step 2: Considering Guardianship Options (18 years and older):
1. Consider implementing supported decision-making and guardianship options:
(a). Guardianship: Grants a person or organization the legal right to make decisions for another person.
(b). Power of Attorney: Manages financial matters.
(c). Medical Proxy: Manages medical matters.

Step 3: Exploring Day Habilitation Options / Services for Your Child’s Future (21-22 years):
